Psychology is the scientific study of the relationship between mind and behaviour. The psychology component of the programme (70%) covers the core domains of psychology, including cognitive, social and developmental psychology, as well as exploring personality and the biological underpinnings of psychological functions. The marketing component of the programme (30%) will be taught by business experts from the Edinburgh Business School who will help you to understand how to apply your psychological knowledge to different areas of business and marketing. Teaching and assessment emphasises application to real world issues, and enhances transferable employability skills such as numerical and computer literacy, research, communication and teamwork. A critical component of the BSc Psychology with Marketing programme is the Industrial Training that takes place at the end of the second year, to gain first hand experience of the world of work.

This programme is offered with a September and January intake.

Our psychology with marketing graduates have a strong record of employment in business management, marketing and branding, customer research and data analytics, to name but a few.
