Heriot-Watt’s strong emphasis on practical, real-world applications has given me valuable experience through group projects simulating contractor and consultant roles, strengthening my teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. I’m also learning key industry tools like Revit early in my journey. The university provides a focused, motivating environment that supports my growth. I believe BSc Quantity Surveying is an excellent programme for anyone interested in the construction industry, as it goes beyond buildings to include cost and contract management. Even in my first year, Heriot-Watt has exposed me to real industry scenarios that will benefit me in the future.
