Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Athena SWAN
The Athena Swan Charter is a globally recognised framework that supports the advancement of gender equality in higher education and research. Originally launched in 2005 to champion the careers of women in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine (STEMM), the Charter has since evolved to address broader gender equality challenges across all disciplines. The School of Engineering and Physical Science is proud to engage with the Charter as part of our ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable academic environment for all.
