Carbon Emissions Management in Construction
Project abstract
My PhD focuses on improving the accuracy of carbon emission management in the UAE construction sector. It addresses the lack of localized and consistent carbon accounting methods currently used. I develop a an approach that is tailored to the UAE context, considering local energy systems and supply chains. The research integrates carbon accounting into practical decision-making processes, especially in construction. The aim is to support transparent, consistent, and actionable carbon reporting. Ultimately, it enables organizations to make better-informed, low-carbon decisions aligned with UAE priorities.
