Project abstract
This study focuses on the embodied carbon emissions of China’s building sector. It develops a national-scale accounting framework, identifies key driving mechanisms, and projects future emission trajectories under different scenarios. Furthermore, the study explores spatial heterogeneity and differentiated mitigation pathways to support carbon neutrality goals and policy optimization in the building sector
