Project abstract

With a background in applied social research, Lauryn's research aims to centre older adults' experiences, with emphasis on the role of the neighbourhood for support ageing in place. Through a qualitative lens, her current research explores these experiences in the context of deprivation, alongside professional perspectives, in order to consider the potential for 20-minute neighbourhood policy to support older adults to live well locally. The research aims to contribute to the development of more inclusive and accessible communities by influencing future policy and practice.
