It is essential in many cases to apply to graduate before you receive formal notification of your results. However, if you do not receive notification of your award by the 7 June 2024 23:59 UK Time, you will not graduate this Summer. Your application will automatically become void and you will be refunded for any monies paid. This also applies to applications to graduate in absentia.
Applications will open on 16 April 2024 and close on 17 May 2024. Late applications will not be accepted.
Check the date and time of your graduation ceremony and ensure that you arrive at least 1 hour before the ceremony is due to start.
Clear any outstanding debt with the University by 10 May 2024.
Please contact the hire company to order your gown and hood well in advance of the ceremony. The company only bring a limited number of extra gowns and hoods to each ceremony and you will not be permitted to graduate in person or be presented to the Chancellor/ Vice-Chancellor without one.
A professional photographer will be available with a number of photographic studios to take individual or family photographs. We suggest you come along for your photos before your ceremony if possible, or after the reception.
