The Institute for Place, Environment and Society (PES) is a cross-disciplinary group of social scientists undertaking work in the areas of urban studies, housing and homelessness, social equity and justice, migration, climate change and sustainability. PES comprises staff from Institute for Social Policy, Housing, Equalities Research (ISPHERE) and the Research Centre for Urban Studies (RCUS).
