Overview
Brewgooder exists to show that beer can be a powerful catalyst for opportunity and people empowerment. The Brewgooder Work in Progress Bursary awards £2,000 annually to a Widening Participation student starting Heriot-Watt's four-year BSc (Hons) Brewing and Distilling programme.
Eligibility
The Brewgooder Work in Progress Bursary provides students coming to study a Brewing and Distilling degree from widening participation backgrounds who are joining us in September 2025, with extra financial support to help towards living costs. Please check if you meet our Widening access criteria.
How to apply
Please click the apply button and fill in the form no later than the deadline of 4th May 2025, please be aware a short statement of up to 300 words is required regarding your financial situation. To apply you must hold an offer to study at Heriot-Watt in September 2025.
Note - this bursary is for new students who will be joining Heriot-Watt in September 2025 only. Current students who are already enrolled are not eligible to apply.
