30. Araucaria araucana

Commonly known as the monkey puzzle tree or Chilean pine. Native to Chile and Western Argentina. Can reach heights of 40 metres (130 feet). This specimen is around 18-20 metres (60-65 feet) tall. The seeds are edible, but the wood is seldom used because of its scarcity.
