17. Research Park

The Edinburgh Campus is home to Europe's first Research Park, created in the 1970s. Landscape infrastructure has always been established in advance of building construction. As for previous development phases, the landscape infrastructure, ponds and swales for sustainable drainage have been constructed in advance of further development at the Research Park.
