Profile
Amarachi took the brave leap of leaving her home and family behind to pursue her dream of gaining a MSc in Global Environmental Change and Policy. The day she left home was filled with many tears and long hugs, but as the plane took off, Amarachi promised herself that the sacrifice would be worth it. At our Edinburgh campus, Amarachi juggled her studies with part-time jobs, while battling feelings of loneliness with video calls with her children, which gave her the strength to continue her studies. On her graduation day, Amarachi is not only celebrating her academic success but the resilience and love that carried her through the journey.
