Ingrid graduated from the MSc Architectural Engineering programme in 2011. She was the Chair of CIBSE Scotland for 3 years and is current an Associate Director at the Scottish Futures Trust and leads the Scottish Government's Net Zero Public Sector Buildings Standards.

ABOUT YOU AND YOUR PROFESSONAL LIFE

How would you describe your current role (& previous roles, if applicable)?

Current role: Primary role is leading the Scottish Government’s Net Zero PublicSector Buildings Standard. Also, as part of the Net Zero team within ScottishFutures Trust I advise Scottish Government on updates to Building Standards.​

Previous roles: Previously I worked at Max Fordham LLP (and before that KJ TaitEngineers) as a Sustainability Consultant and Building Performance Engineer. ​

Project(s) that you are most proud to have worked on

Oriam at Heriot-Watt University! Where I carried out Soft Landings.​

The Engine Shed, which is one of the most sustainable projects I have workedon; Scotland’s National Conservation Centre, where I provided sustainabilityconsultancy advice, Soft Landings and Post Occupancy support and evaluation.​

Are you attached to any built environment professional organisations orlearned societies?

I was Chair of CIBSE Scotland for 3 years, I am a Chartered Engineer and one ofCIBSE’s youngest Fellows. I am also a member of Women in Property.​
