Overview
The International Student Recruitment Internship is a unique opportunity for talented international postgraduate taught (PGT) students to gain valuable professional experience while supporting Heriot-Watt University's global student recruitment activities.
Successful applicants will receive a 25% tuition fee abatement and will work alongside our Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions and Communications (MRAC) team to support prospective students from their home region.
Through this internship, students will develop professional skills in marketing, communications and recruitment, while helping future applicants learn more about studying at Heriot-Watt University.
Award
Successful applicants will receive:
- A 25% tuition fee abatement towards their postgraduate taught programme for the 2026/27 academic year.
- Practical experience working with the University's international recruitment team.
- Opportunities to develop skills in marketing, communications, stakeholder engagement and student recruitment.
- Professional networking opportunities with regional recruitment representatives and University staff.
Eligibility
International students that hold an offer for a Postgraduate Taught programme in September 2026 that are resident in the following 4 countries / regions - India, China and North America. Preference will be given to offer holders on these programmes - MSc Business Strategy, Leadership and Change, MSc Digital Marketing, MSc International Business Management, MSc International Marketing, MSc Business Psychology.
