Diwali Community Scholarship

Are you planning to start your postgraduate journey in January 2026?

We’re offering a Diwali Community Scholarship of up to £6,000 to support you. This is available for all students who apply by 31 October 2025.

What’s in it for you?

• Complete the Application form before 31st October 2025
• Submit an application to study with us and upload any required supplemental items to ensure your application is marked complete by 31st October 2025
• Receive a Conditional or Unconditional offer
• Are confirmed as 'Overseas' for fee status purposes

The award will be applied as follows based on your course fee:

• A £2000 award where programme fees are up to £23,000
• A £4000 award where programme fees are between £23,000 and £26,000
• A £6000 award where programme fees are over £26,000

Important Dates

• You must apply between: 1 October and 31 October 2025
• Start of studies: January 2026

Please be aware you can only receive one Heriot-Watt funded scholarship towards your programme of study. So, for example, you cannot receive both this scholarship and the international merit scholarship.
