Biography
Rachel Whittington is part of the Effective Learning Service, providing support with study skills and academic writing to all UK and Distance Learning students. Rachel teaches information skills and study skills aligned to the curriculum and as part of Heriot-Watt's Skills Hub. She also provides a one-to-one appointments and deals with enquiries relating to study skills. Rachel is also part of the Information Services Communications Group.
Rachel has a BSc (Hons) in Archaeology and MA in Information and Library Management. She is a Fellow of The Higher Education Academy, and a member of Scottish Higher Education Learner Developers (ScotHELD) and the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP).
