Biography

Xiaoman Wang is an assistant professor working at Heriot Watt University, UK. Her research interests are Interpreting Studies, Language and Technology and Digital Humanities, specifically automatic assessment for Chinese/English Interpreting. Her articles have been published in PerspectivesLANS-TTS, The Interpreter and Translator Trainer, Frontiers in CommunicationAcross Languages and Cultures, Humanities and Social Sciences Communications and Chinese Translators Journal (中国翻译). Additionally, she has presented her research at various conferences, including the European Association of Machine Translation and was invited to attend Dagstuhl seminar.
