Biography

John-Sebastian has a BA and MA (summa cum laude) in English Language and Culture from Leiden University, a BSc in Informatics from Delft University of Technology and an MPhil (summa cum laude) in Generative Linguistics from the University of Utrecht as well as a PhD in Developmental Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh. His research encompasses topics in Psycholinguistics, Bilingualism and Second Language Acquisition. He has 20+ years of teaching experience at several universities in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom and has been teaching at Heriot-Watt University since 2013. He currently teaches and coordinates courses for HW Global College.
