Biography

Daniele Fanelli is Assistant Professor in Social Research Methods at Heriot-Watt University, Director of the TEMET Lab (Theoretical and Empirical METaknowledge Laboratory), and Co-Head of Research in the Department of Research Methods and Practice. He is also a Visiting Fellow in the Department of Methodology at the London School of Economics.
With a background in evolutionary biology, science communication and computer science, he is an internationally recognised metascientist specialising in the quantitative study of scientific knowledge, research practices, bias and integrity.
