Biography
I completed my PhD in 2019 as a member of the Maxwell Institute Graduate School in Analysis and its Applications CDT, a joint programme between the University of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt University. Under the supervision of Michela Ottobre, my doctoral research focused on degenerate stochastic differential equations.
Following my PhD, I moved to the Netherlands, where I spent two years as a postdoctoral researcher at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and TU Delft. During this period, my research interests expanded to include piecewise deterministic Markov processes, working closely with Joris Bierkens.
In 2021, I returned to Edinburgh to work with Konstantinos Zygalakis and Marcelo Pereyra on applications of sampling methods to imaging problems. Since 2023, I have been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Heriot-Watt University, where I continue to develop research at the interface of stochastic processes, computation, and applications.
