Qi Li

Biography

Qi is an Assistant Professor of Accountancy at Edinburgh Business School. Qi’s main research interests are in the areas of critical accounting, accounting and gender in the context of globalization, and professional identity. Her current research focuses on Chinese women accountants’ generational shifts and changing identities in family, society and workplace. She is also interested in professional accountants’ identity in popular culture and digital space. Qi’s key teaching interests are in accounting theory, corporate reporting, financial accounting.
