Biography
My research area is the development of organisational capabilities in different contexts. The theory of organisational capabilities enables us to understand building different capabilities within the business environment. Today, businesses face different challenges within a short period, and this means they need to build different capabilities to stay competitive. I pursue my career to understand contemporary challenges and how to use academic and practical knowledge to create roadmaps for capability building. My current research interest is to understand digital transformation within different contexts.

Background
I worked as a Continuous Improvement Engineer at Goodyear Rubber and Tyre Izmit Plant from 2009 to 2011. From 2017 to 2020, I worked as an Assistant Professor of Production Management at Ardahan University, Turkey. I have delivered courses in Production Management, Project Management, Quality Management, Operations Management, and Continuous Improvement Systems. From 2020 to 2023, I worked as an Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering at Samsun University, Turkey.
I have worked with local SMEs to build different capabilities such as performance measurement systems for R&D, digital transformation and implementation of MES, lean manufacturing training and implementations, and coordination of academia and industry to work together to build different engineering capabilities.
