Biography

Ana Paula's research interests combine corporate social responsibility, business ethics, sustainability, sustainable development goals, leadership, project management, and enterprise education with system thinking theory and action research. She also co-investigated two research projects funded by the UK Government, which worked with 20 SMEs in Edinburgh, UK, to empower and embrace United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in a post-COVID-19 Scotland. She is the UK President of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and a CMI, AMED Networks, ISBE, and BAM member. She is teaching and supervising at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels. The teaching is aligned with PRME and is linked to sustainability and sustainable development goals. Received certificate of recognition for Learning and Teaching from the University of Dundee, the Best Programme Lead and Above and Beyond - Partnership track – at Edinburgh Napier University. As a Cardiff Metropolitan University research project consultant to evaluate the impact and efficacy of the Clean Growth programme in the Cardiff Capital Region and previous experience in large organisations such as AstraZeneca pharmaceutical and financial sector.
