Biography
I am a qualified accountant (FCCA), and have an MBA and a Degree in Finance. I am currently the Head of Professional Education at one of the top 5 consulting firms in Ireland. In my previous roles I was CFO of an international capital markets bank in Ireland. I have also headed up master's programmes and was the Head of Content and Education at Learnsignal. I have been teaching on masters, degree and professional courses for over 10 years.
My study is centred on identifying strategic opportunities for the future of League of Ireland football, the top ranked football league in Ireland. The research question of the present study is to assess “What potential scenarios exist for the future of the LOI and what implications do these have for strategic options and future performance?”
The purpose of this qualitative dissertation is to generate scenarios that represent the different strategic directions the League of Ireland may take in the future. Assessing these results will provide a roadmap to build a long-term strategy targeting significant improvement in the coefficient standing.
