Hon Chung Hui

I have been an academic for more than two decades. Prior to joining Heriot-Watt, I was attached to several universities in Malaysia, including Wawasan Open University, University of Nottingham (Malaysia Campus) and Monash University (Malaysia Campus). I started my career in Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia) before realising that the allure of teaching in the university became too overpowering to ignore.

 

My professional background is in economics with a penchant for scientific, data-driven approach to problem-solving. I survived the gruelling curriculum in the University of London and University of Nottingham, where I earned my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees respectively.
