Biography
I hold a PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a specialised focus on high-voltage (HV) silicone rubber insulating materials. My PhD research centred on optimising the formulation and processing of silicone rubber composites for outdoor insulation, involving detailed analysis of material behaviour under various electrical, mechanical, chemical, and physical tests aligned with IEC standards. This work strengthened my expertise in processing parameters, filler loading, and compound formulation, while deepening my capabilities in statistical data analysis, particularly through ANOVA and response surface-based optimisation using Design of Experiments (DoE) methods. My research covered the full scope of laboratory material development : mixing, curing, and post-curing using industrial equipment such as internal mixers, hot press machines, and etc.. I also have experience operating function generators, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and step-up transformers (1–6 kV). Data acquisition was performed using DAQ systems with LabVIEW, while Python was used for signal filtering. My data analysis workflow included tools such as Design Expert, SigmaPlot, Minitab, and Microsoft Office. I also have a solid foundation in schematic reading, circuit interpretation, and engineering analysis. Beyond research, I am passionate about teaching. Since 2023, I have worked as a private tutor for SPM-level Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, and am currently teaching at a Pusat Tuisyen in Melaka. These roles have sharpened my ability to tailor explanations and adapt my teaching approach to different learning styles. I also possess excellent communication and presentation skills. As a conference organizing member under Connecting Asia since 2022, I have helped organise multiple international events (AIC and AIMC), engaging with participants from countries including China, New Zealand, Russia, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, and Ghana. This experience enhanced my cross-cultural communication and strengthened my ability to work within multidisciplinary teams. Combining technical depth, research experience, and educational engagement, I am eager to contribute to roles that support academic excellence, engineering innovation, and student development.
