
Biography
Dr Lucy Bolton is an Associate Professor in Business Psychology and Director of Postgraduate Taught Programmes for Psychology. A Chartered Psychologist (BPS) and Registered Occupational Psychologist (HCPC), Lucy teaches on the MSc Business Psychology and MSc Business Psychology with Coaching programmes in Dubai. Her expertise spans business and coaching psychology, with a focus on careers, social and organisational change, diversity, and research methods at the postgraduate level.
Dr Lucy Bolton’s research focuses on business and coaching psychology, particularly the socialisation of graduates into organisations, their work values, and career orientations. Her research spans change management, coaching, workspace design, socio‑technical systems, job design, employability, and knowledge management. She has collaborated with global organisations including Rolls‑Royce, Bentley Motors, Marks and Spencer, the NHS, REED‑NCFE, and the UK Government Office of Science. Lucy has presented her work and delivered keynotes at major international conferences such as BPS DOP, EAWOP, AOM, AHFE, IPCD, the Cyprus Centre for Business Research, and MEPA. She continues to publish and review in global business and coaching psychology journals.
