Why does climate inaction persist despite growing awareness, evidence and urgency?

On 9 October, the Centre for Financing a Sustainable Future will bring together academics, practitioners and policymakers to explore one of the most important questions facing society today: what prevents meaningful climate action, and how can progress be accelerated?

The discussion will be inspired by Frédéric Samama's book The Enigma of Climate Inaction and will feature expert commentary from Simon Thompson, alongside opportunities for audience participation and debate.

This event, hosted at Panmure House, offers a valuable opportunity to engage with different perspectives from across finance, business, policy and academia, and to contribute to an important conversation about the challenges and opportunities ahead.
