How Live Online Tutorials can help you prepare for success
Studying online offers you the independence to learn your way, but that doesn’t mean going it alone. Engaging with tutors and fellow students can make a difference - especially when preparing for assessments or tackling complex material.
If you’re studying our online MSc in Business and Organisational Psychology, our Live Online Tutorials provide that support. Delivered in real-time via a virtual classroom, these sessions offer a valuable opportunity to reinforce your learning, deepen your understanding and prepare for your Final Online Assessments with confidence.
We cover key topics, work through assessment-style questions and create an opportunity for you to hear different perspectives from your peers.
Expert-led learning
Delivered through a dedicated virtual classroom, these weekly tutorials are hosted by Greg Fantham, Assistant Professor at the School of Social Sciences. They are designed to complement your studies by offering interactive, focused academic support in a flexible format.
Greg explains: “The live tutorials are a space for discussion, clarification and connection. They’re not about repeating material, but helping students engage with it actively. We cover key topics, work through assessment-style questions and create an opportunity for you to hear different perspectives from your peers.
“It’s about creating an environment where you can challenge ideas, ask questions and feel supported.”
A flexible way to stay on track
These tutorials are structured to work around your schedule. If you can’t attend the live sessions, recordings are available within one hour and remain accessible until the next major assessment diet. Whether you’re revisiting a challenging topic or catching up on a missed session, you can engage at your own pace.
You’ll also gain access to a dedicated discussion forum, where you can continue conversations, connect with fellow students and receive follow-up guidance from your tutor.
