Heriot-Watt hosts a successful Healthy Ageing Showcase event

The Global Research Institute in Health and Care Technologies recently welcomed over 200 researchers, community leaders, and stakeholders to its Healthy Ageing Showcase, a flagship event dedicated to pioneering research that promotes health and wellbeing in later life.

Opened by Professor Linda Bauld, Chief Social Policy Advisor to the Scottish Government, the showcase offered a platform for lively discussions on cutting-edge solutions that support healthy lifestyles as we age. Special guest Katherine Crawford, CEO of Age Scotland, led a session celebrating the invaluable contributions of older adults in guiding research priorities.
