Your student experience
Teaching is delivered through a combination of lectures, tutorials and project work. Assessment is generally based on either coursework or an exam at the end of the semester, or a mixture of the two at the end of the semester or academic year.

Entry requirements
We have standard entry requirements for all of our courses that you will have to meet.
Year 1
- Heriot-Watt University Malaysia Foundation in Business or Science: Pass and eligible to receive the award
- A-Level: CCC
- STPM: GPA 2.0 (2Cs) in 2 subjects
- UEC: 30 points (5 best subjects not less than B grade)
- IB Diploma: 24 points for 6 subjects
- WACE/SACE: ATAR 55
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma: 50%
- Foundation: CGPA 2.0
- China Senior High School Graduation Certificate: 70%
- India Senior School Certificate/Class XII: 50%
- Indonesia SMA 3: 66%
Note:
In addition to the entry requirements listed above, applicants must have grade pass in Mathematics at SPM/ IGCSE or equivalent. This requirement can be waived if applicants have obtained at least grade pass in Mathematics at a higher level.

The minimum English language requirement for entry to this programme is IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent) with no score lower than 5.5.
