Profile

Through this programme at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia (HWUM), we had many opportunities to engage with industry leaders from multinational corporations, which helped me understand the industry today and shaped my career path. From the beginning, I aspired to join an international organisation in China or Malaysia, and this experience gave me the exposure and confidence to secure my current role at Education Malaysia Beijing.

I also got to experience the inclusive culture in Malaysia, and learn about the different ethnicities and beautiful scenery here. Within the university itself, it is a multicultural environment with international and local students. As part of the football team, I got to play with students from Scotland, France, Malaysia and more, which is a unique experience and something that we don't often get to do back home. The lecturers, personal tutors, and international office are very responsible not only when it comes to your studies, but overall well-being. They are always ready to lend a helping hand whenever you need them.
