Sophie Watson

I am doing my PhD at Heriot-Watt University in the areas of energy and the environment. My PhD topic seeks to bring together psychological theories that I have previously studied with other areas such as economics, to study energy-saving policies at the household level and their contribution to overall national climate strategy. This is a highly interdisciplinary research project, supervised by Dr Claudia Aravena (Economics), Dr Mioara Cristea (Psychology) and Professor Mark Schaffer (Economics).
