Doctoral Thesis - Enablers and Deterrents of Digital Transformation in Industry 4.0 - Probing key constituents for an effective strategy towards organisational ambidexterity. 

This research intents to inquire into the factors contributing to, and the challenges detrimental to, successful Digital Transformation Initiatives within the organisations in Oman. By gathering deep and exhaustive insights from the sample organisations using a mixed method approach, this research aims to formulate a ‘Digital Transformation Framework’ which can be either directly applied or further calibrated as appropriate by the organisations, while embarking on their Digital Transformation journey.

Background

In the last two decades of his professional career, Sandeep worked in Information Technology Sector and was employed with IBM, HP and HCL. Presently, as an Enterprise IT Solution consultant, he is employed with Gulf Business Machines, one of the largest System Integrators in Oman, practicing as a Brand Leader for IBM Enterprise Systems for Oman. Across diverse industry sectors, he works closely with, and facilitates, enterprises to Digitally Transform by modernising their Core Business IT infrastructure to achieve business agility.
