Association of Business Schools (ABS)
Edinburgh Business School is a member of the Association of Business Schools (ABS) and benefits from a network of business schools for sharing best practice as well as developing initiatives and policy.
Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)
Accreditation of undergraduate programmes in Business Management with Marketing. To obtain the exemptions students must have completed the marketing courses specified by Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) as part of their degree.
Chartered Management Institute (CMI)
Reduced cost student membership of Chartered Management Institute (CMI), benefits of which include access to dedicated online management resources & information sources for students.
Logistics
Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT UK)
Our MSc degrees in Logistics and Supply Chain Management are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport. Students who successfully graduate from the above degrees will receive an exemption from the academic requirements for membership at either Chartered Member or Member level of the CILT. Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)
Our MSc degrees in Logistics and Supply Chain Management are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply. Whilst you are studying you can join as a Student Member becoming an Affiliate Member and then Member (MCIPS).

Our accountancy and finance programme is accredited by a number of institutions for exemptions from some professional examinations:
- Accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for the purpose of exemptions from some professional examinations.
- Accredited by the Association of International Accountants (AIA) for the purpose of exemption from some professional examinations.
- Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) for the purpose of exemption from some professional examinations through the Accredited degree accelerated route.
- Accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) for the purpose of exemption from some professional examinations.
- Accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland (ICAS) for the purpose of exemption from some professional examinations.
