A Global Reunion

Forty-two years after graduating in 1977, with degrees in electrical and electronic engineering, nine members of the class gathered for an informal reunion. This took place in Barcelona from 29 September to 2 October 2019. Participants flew in from California, Qatar, Sweden, Minorca and Scotland.

The sunny and warm days were filled enjoying Barcelona's many tourist attractions. The cooler evenings were spent catching-up and recalling the early days of the Riccarton campus, time spent in various Grassmarket hostelries and the Grindlay Street Union, where you could buy six pints and still get change from a pound!

It was agreed not to wait another forty-two years until the next reunion.
