Welcoming and close-knit community, strong academic support from Professors, attractive and well-equipped campus, approachability and willingness to help when students ask, high standard of teaching and education.
What’s your favourite memory of your time as a Heriot-Watt student?
The time spent with my friends when we did not have lessons. Especially the time spent in Edinburgh city itself.
Tell us about your career since graduating from Heriot-Watt.
I went to Munich and found a job as a Customer Support Representative, and I am currently networking in order to find work as an interpreter and foreign language teacher.
How has your Heriot-Watt education contributed to your success?
My employer specifically said that the main reason for choosing to employ me was because I spent a year abroad studying at Heriot-Watt University.
What advice do you have for current students or anyone considering studying at Heriot-Watt?
Spend time socialising and networking after your graduation, via the friends you have made on campus.
What are your aspirations for the future?
For your career?
Finding a job a language teacher and interpreter.
For your local and wider community?
Being able to include more people of different backgrounds.
