Our vision

Our founders, James Watt and George Heriot, were pioneers of the highest order in education and philanthropy, and they inspire our students and academic leaders to this day. Pioneering thinking remains at the heart of Heriot-Watt as we continue at the forefront of inclusive higher education and leaders in world class research. 

Our vision is to support our students and our research as we believe both have the potential to change the world. But we can’t do this alone. We need your help.

How you can help
