Funding for Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Projects
- UKCISA – UK Council for International Student Affairs: Funding (up to £10,000) for small research projects and pilot projects that aim to enhance the experience of international students in UK institutions. Heriot-Watt is a member of UKCISA.
- SRHE – The Society for Research into Higher Education: Awards of up to £5000 (£10,000 for individual members of SRHE) for the exploration of new area of HE research leading to a development plan for further research.
- Association for Learning Development in Higher Education (ALDinHE): Funding of up to £1000 for projects that focus on either enhancing the student learning experience or expanding the evidence base for learning development activities
- The Carnegie Trust: Funding for early career researchers to undertake short research projects or funding for workshops to share new ideas or exchange skills
- SEDA - Staff And Educational Development Association: Funding of up to £1000 to support research into, or evaluation of, educational development practice. Heriot-Watt is a member of SEDA.
