SIGNS@HWU is a research group at Heriot‑Watt University whose members do world‑leading multidisciplinary research on Sign Language Studies, Deaf Studies and Sign Language Interpreting Studies
We provide a comprehensive range of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities delivered by a world-class team of practice researchers, interpreters and Deaf professionals.
Our training covers interpreting studies, sign language studies, Deaf Studies, Deaf interpreting and translation, ethics and interprofessional work across sectors such as policing, healthcare, and social care.
We also deliver sessions on and in International Sign.
