Professor Sara Lombardo - Executive Dean of the School of Mathematical & Computer Sciences
Sara is currently a member of the Maxwell Institute for Mathematical Sciences and the Executive Dean of the School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences at Heriot-Watt University, UK. Prior to Heriot-Watt University, Sara was an Associate Dean in the School of Science at Loughborough University and was Head of Mathematics at Northumbria University in Newcastle.
Our faculty
Our school comprises of three Departments; Mathematics, Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics, and Computer Science, with an academic staff of 151, and over 1400 students studying at undergraduate, postgraduate taught, and postgraduate research levels across our Edinburgh, Dubai and Malaysia campuses.
