Our Civil Engineering Construction Management course will allow you to develop a comprehensive understanding of Civil Engineering and Infrastructure projects, and develop advanced skills relating to the design, supervision and management of civil engineering projects. It will prepare you for a career as an Incorporated Engineer in the Civil Engineering sector. The cross-disciplinary nature of the programme means that professional accreditation by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) will also be possible. Dual accreditation provides alternative, but complimentary, professional pathways for graduates.
The most likely professional destination for graduates of this programme is to become Incorporated Engineers and Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) accreditation for the course is pending. The course is structured in such a way that the management related competencies will allow professional accreditation through the Chartered Institute of Building, and this dual accreditation across the two discipline areas will be a unique development providing flexible professional pathways for graduates. As this is a new programme for 2018, professional accreditation is pending.
This course is currently only delivered at our Edinburgh Campus and there are no current opportunities to study at exchange partner institutions.
However, other Go Global opportunities may be available. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
