Graduations are always one of the highlights of our University year. We are very sad, therefore, to confirm that we have taken the decision to cancel our summer ceremonies in Scotland, Dubai and Malaysia this year in light of the ongoing global pandemic and restrictions on public gatherings.
However, you will still be able to graduate in absentia and receive your certificate via post. For details of delivery costs please see 'How do i apply'.
The online application will open on 7th April and all applications must be made before the deadline date of 17 June 2021.
Graduate in Absentia
When you graduate in absentia, you will be given the following options as part of the online graduation application:
- decide how we use your student data;
- update your contact details;
- provide an address for your certificate to be sent to;
- make payment if appropriate.
The University has taken the decision to waive the cost of postage for graduating in absentia from the Summer 2021 conferment.
You must complete the online application before the deadline date of 17 June 2021 in order to qualify for the postage fee waiver. You will be asked to select DHL courier for all international deliveries or Royal Mail UK Signed For, for all UK deliveries.
Applications received after the 17 June 2021 will incur the standard postage fees set out below
