Staff member of the Court elected by staff

Nominations are invited from members of staff in all campuses of the University to fill a vacancy that will arise in the membership of the Court in 2020 in the category of Staff Member. The elected individual must be an Academic Staff member at any one of the University’s campuses.  The closing date of the election is 15 June 2020 (4.00 pm UK time).  All members of staff will be eligible to nominate and to vote for an Academic Staff member in the election. The period of appointment is for three years from 1 August 2020 until 31 July 2023.

Nominations deadline

The deadline for receipt of nominations is 4.00 pm (UK time) on 8 May 2020.

Prospective nominees: please note that short supporting statements from those standing for election will be requested by a deadline of 25 May 2020. Further guidance on this will follow.

The election will be undertaken on behalf of the University by Civica Election Services (Formerly Electoral Reform Services).

As part of the criteria for appointment by the Court, a candidate will be required to confirm their acceptance of the terms set out in the letter of appointment.
