Monday 17 May - Coaching @ Heriot-Watt University

Director of Heriot-Watt's Coaching Lab, Dr Dasha Grajfoner, leads a discussion panel on the role of coaching at Heriot-Watt and in academia.

Tuesday 18 May - Can coaching make me happier? Student workshop

Time: 9.30am - 10.30am (GMT)

Dr Dasha Grajfoner and Emma Smail celebrate International Coaching Week with a student workshop exploring how Coaching can improve wellbeing and help people feel happier. It will help participants define happiness and provide coaching tools to help student take the first steps to enhance wellbeing.

Tuesday 18 May - Coaching for Success - Staff workshop

10.30am - 11.15am (GMT)

Coaching for success is an informal session for all members of staff from the global Heriot-Watt community. This session will help participants understand what coaching is and bust some myths around coaching. 

Wednesday 19 May - Coaching Research Showcase Symposium

Time: 9.00am - 10.00am (GMT)

Dr Lucy Bolton, Director of MSc Business Psychology with Coaching at Heriot-Watt University's Dubai Campus, will be joined by current and former students who will share their research projects from the field of coaching.

Wednesday 19 May - Introduction to DBA with a focus on Coaching

Dr Jesus Canduela, Head of DBA Programme at Edinburgh Business School, will introduce this professional research degree and explain the routes to becoming a registered coaching psychologist or accredited coach.

Thursday 20 May - Ethics in Coaching Practice: Guest Lecture with David Ribott

Time: 2.00pm - 3.00pm (GMT)

David Ribott is MD of David Ribott International FZE; Non-Executive Director for ICF Ethics Committee, and Coach Faculty for WBECS. In this session he will call upon his two decades of coaching experience to share ways of truly engaging with ethics which are often seen as a 'checklist'.
