Public lectures

The BBC's famous mission statement very neatly describes the aim of our public lectures - to inform, educate and entertain - and tickets are free.
The Inaugural Lecture programme celebrates our world-class research talent and is an opportunity for our newly appointed professors to share their knowledge with a wider community.
The Principal’s Distinguished Lecture Series welcomes public speakers of the highest calibre from the worlds of industry, business and academia to Heriot-Watt's global campuses.
At Panmure House, we also run a variety of lecture series aligned with the venues mission to provide a world-class 21st-century centre for social and economic debate and research, convening in the name of Adam Smith to effect positive change and forge global, future-focussed networks.
