Our facilities

As a technology-focused university we offer an impressive range of laboratories, workshops and specialised equipment that business and industry can also access - for a range of purposes including experimental work, testing prototypes, data analysis or training. Our facilities are fully supported by expert technicians and specialist colleagues who can assist with equipment and outcomes including interpretation of results.

Our Research Park enables companies and organisations to be based on our Edinburgh Campus, in 380 acres of beautiful parkland, with easy access to our resources and facilities. With an emphasis on research, development, design, engineering, training and prototyping, our aim is to provide the optimum location to undertake research and development. This unique location has attracted a diverse range of collaborators from Renishaw plc to the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service.
