Hi, I’m Kara! I graduated in June 2023 with my BA(Hons) in Interior Design from the Scottish Borders Campus. While studying, I was involved in student life through being a Student Ambassador and Class Representative for all 4 years of my degree. As a Student Success Advisor, I look forward to supporting students to help them get the most out of their university experience by further developing the SBC community on campus.  
 

Heriot-Watt Highlight

My Heriot-Watt highlight is definitely the strong sense of community, especially at the Scottish Borders Campus. As an international student, I was quickly able to build a home away from home in Galashiels with the help of not only the friends I made while studying, but also the opportunities provided to explore the local area through the university.
