Ever wondered what creatures used to roam Scotland before humans or if Scotland’s ever actually been warm? Join this interactive workshop led by a real rock detective (aka a geologist) to learn about Scotland’s eruptive past.

This interactive session is part of the Borrow a Researcher series, developed by West Lothian Libraries and Heriot-Watt University. It will be facilitated by Eira James, a geologist and PhD student with experience of delivering interactive and engaging science workshops to primary level audiences. Eira is passionate about the communication of earth sciences to the public as a tool for combating environmental challenges and strives to put inclusivity at the heart of all her engagement work.
