What appealed to you most about Heriot-Watt University?
I liked that Heriot-Watt is a campus university which made it easier at the beginning to settle in and meet new people through halls. The classes are rather small which makes it a friendlier environment. Furthermore, my degree at Heriot-Watt had great ratings amongst UK universities. It's a dual degree which gives me more opportunities in the future.
Do you feel your degree has prepared you well for a career?
Yes, being able to meet with people from the field and talk about their jobs and cases helped me to see the differences and similarities of academic knowledge and real life practice.
Has your degree programme helped you develop links with industry?
As the programme is accredited by the RTPI and the RICS I get the chance to be a free member and to get involved in all kinds of events where I can meet people from different companies. This allows us to make great connections for our future career.
What would you say to prospective students considering studying at Heriot-Watt?
Heriot-Watt is a great university which provides all kinds of facilities to help you with your studies and research. If you want to get involved in things you like and you enjoy being in a more familiar, intimate and friendly environment it's the perfect place.
